maybe he should move to America where we are allowed free speech.

Hey Anonymous,

In America, there is freedom of speech. But that doesn't mean that there is freedom "from" the negative social implications that one's free speech may invoke.

Freedom of speech is a two-edged sword. Mel has an absolute right to his opinion and to express it freely. Others have just as much a right to express their disdain for his opinion by utilizing THEIR freedom of speech as well.

With Freedom...Comes Responsibility. Don't shoot your mouth off if you can't stand the ramifications of such actions.
